Thermoplast-TI acts as a thermal barrier with minimum expansion (and thermal conductivity co‐efficient) when exposed to temperatures around/above 700 Degree C. Formulated with AEPCO’s proprietary binder (ALS‐21), natural minerals and focus on developing a homogenous mass having enough adhesive strength (to bind perfectly to the metal surface), to attain optimum compressive strength / mechanical load bearing capacity (of molten metal and refractory bricks) besides minimum shrinkage after complete drying.
Temperature Range: 1200ºC + 10%

- Electrical properties: Fully cured 1mm thick coating at 1400C for 8-‐9 hours:
- Di-electric strength at 2000C: 60 KV
- 24 hours water immersion at 300C: 60 KV
- 24 hours acid vapors at 1000C: >60 KV
